Caw feels that Dan still has special feelings for Madam Butterfly and
.he persuades her to return to Dan's side. However, Madam Butterfly
feels guilty of being unfaithful to Dan and tries her best to avoid
him. This brings grieve to both of them.
Though reluctant, Wei leads his tribesmen to assassinate the Emperor.
Hut the plot falls through and they are to be executed. Ian hurries
to implore the Emperor to forgive his father and fellow tribesmen
even offering to sacrifice his own life for them. The Emperor is
touched by his act and forgive the Ching tribesmen.
The Emperor now gets hold of evidence concerning the treacherous act
of his uncle and Yuen. He orders the two to be executed. However,
the Princess begs forgiveness for them. In the end, her father is
made an ordinary citizen and later becomes a beggar.
Yuen, feeling disappointed and disillusioned, reveals his relationship
with Madam Butterfly……
